Eunju Park

Eunju Park is an award-winning, self-taught Hanji artist based in St. Albert, Canada, born in Ulsan, South Korea. Working with Hanji, traditional Korean paper made from mulberry bark, she tears and reconstructs Hangul (the Korean alphabet) into abstract forms carrying affirmations such as You Matter and Radical Acceptance. Park began her practice later in life while navigating grief and healing, and Hanji’s resilience has become central to her work. Her practice explores self-love, encouragement, and hope through exhibitions, workshops, murals, and public art, bringing Korean language and positive messages into shared spaces and inviting emotional connection beyond language.
